The latest book read by the WBG members is The New One Minute Manager, by Ken Blanchard PHD and Spencer Johnson MD. The book is an update to the classic “The One Minute Manager” by the same author, first published in the ’90s and with over 15m copies sold worldwide.
At the heart of the book are three core principles which have been updated from the original book: One Minute Goals, One Minute Praisings, and One Minute Re-Directs. These principles are presented in a straightforward and easy-to-understand manner. The book is short (under 100 pages) and has an easy-to-read narrative format. But the lessons it contains are powerful.
