We all love a good story, because stories are a great way for us to connect. And when we connect with other business people, we like to use their services, and they like to use ours. This is how Wealden Business Group fosters our networking activities, and also how today’s guest speaker, Rachael Bryant of Your Video Team, helps her clients.
Embodying that ethos, Rachael started out by telling some of her story. About her previous career as a police officer, and how being run over by a car led her to quit that (ask her to tell you to full story)! And about her family, including two boys named after Marvel heroes. Making that connection starts with being open about your own story.
Rachael and her husband, Ben, now run a company that helps businesses to create video content that they can use for their marketing, running 266 interviews last year! They also run a podcast that showcases small businesses around Kent. Putting regular video content online is a great way to highlight your work, after all YouTube is the second most watched platform in the UK (after the BBC, of course).
