Former WBG member Glyn Moore joined us this week to talk about his business story. Glyn is originally from Folkestone and has been married over 50 years.
Following a successful corporate career in insurance, which included stints at Skandia and the RAC, Glyn returned to Kent, settling in Tenterden. After some advice he started offering business advice to local clients, with WBG member David Meredith being his very first client. This was the birth of Advice4Business.
In time Glyn took on an advisor. This proved to be a successful move, such that A4B grew eventually to 8 offices supporting 15 advisors, who offered services to over 200 clients.
As well as helping businesses to grow, Glyn has also assisted with selling businesses, often for more than the owner expects to realise. His extensive local network allows him to identify potential buyers that may otherwise not become part of the process.
