Squiggle Consult aim to help people to protect their estate when one of life’s inevitables come to pass (and I’m not referring to taxes). Their consultant, Jake Paine, came along to the WBG breakfast to explain the how and why.
So let’s start with why you should write a will. In addition to describing who your estate beneficiaries should be, it can also detail who will be your children’s legal guardians (if they are under 18), and what should happen if you die first and then your partner re-marries. Without a will there’s a prospect that your estate will pass entirely to your partner and your children may miss out on an inheritance. It can also cover situations such as financial hardship, loss of capacity and even reducing inheritance tax.
Squiggle are a great choice of partner for all aspect of estate management. Based in Evegate Business Park near Ashford, they are a family business that have family values. They look to meet with customers as much as possible rather than use video or phone calls, but through a network of consultants cover all of Great Britain. In addition to family clients they also service the estate management needs of many large companies.
