Weds 10th June 2026

At today’s breakfast meeting, Paul Routley took the opportunity to tell the group about the four core behavioural traits that every human possesses, introducing us to the Predictive Index methodology. Making effective connections with clients and colleagues is hugely important in business, and Paul explained that by identifying these underlying behaviours, we can better understand ourselves and adapt the way we communicate. He highlighted that this approach not only helps in building a much stronger understanding of our clients, but it also allows us to communicate more effectively with everyone—even those individuals we might currently find difficult to engage with.
Paul expanded on the insights during his presentation with an entertaining and interactive quiz, challenging the group to match the four distinct traits to well-known celebrity chefs and famous football managers. It was a fun and highly engaging session that left everyone with a much better understanding of how different personalities operate in high-pressure environments, and how we can all tweak our approaches to get the best out of every professional relationship.
To bring the methodology to life, members were offered the chance to take a short, six-minute Predictive Index assessment prior to the session to receive a personalised report outlining their own unique behavioural and communication styles.
