WBG were joined this week by Microsoft Office365 specialist, Stuart Weller of F-Keys, who shared a number of useful productivity tips for both Word and Excel. Some of the tips shared included….
- Using your computer’s microphone to dictate documents instead of typing them
- Letting your computer read text or even columns of numbers when checking your work
- Using autotext as a shortcut for typing long sections of text (e.g. company name & address)
- Moving paragraphs by highlighting them then using Alt + Shift + Up/Down
- The benefits of using styles to format headings
- View | Outline can then be used to move sections around
- Much easier to create a Table of Contents
It was clear to see that, for frequent users of Office365 products, some training from F-Keys could help people to use them much more efficiently and effectively.
