WBG was joined today by Bryan Hall, who is a director of Multiple Intelligence Hub CIC (MIH) and is responsible for much of their fundraising effort. MIH is a day care service provider offering 1-to-1 support for older children and young adults with Autism and/or ADHD, although those with other similar conditions are sometimes cared for too.
MIH is run by coordinators with expertise in SEND (Special Educational Needs & Disabilities) and land-based activities, and receives referrals mainly from Kent County Council as well as schools. They help children who struggle in mainstream schools as well as bridging the gap for those leaving education and going into adult care.
The centre caters for up to 10 people at the moment, but are looking to expand that capacity to 25.
