Alison Miles – Communications and PR

Alison Miles has worked in public relations and marketing for the last 40+ years, providing advice to, and implementing campaigns for, a wide range of clients in an array of industries – from healthcare and education to food and electricals. She started her working life in top London agencies before setting up her own business with a colleague. More recently she moved into education as a marketing manager and fundraiser, finally going freelance in 2022. Her current clients include the Kent & East Sussex Railway, for whom she has significantly increased their positive media exposure over the last 18 months as their outsourced Press Officer. She also helped to generate crucial publicity for the successful campaign to save and then reopen the George in Bethersden as a community enterprise, and she is currently a member of its Management Committee.
