The Pestalozzi International Foundation is a 60-year-old charity which offers scholarship opportunities for gifted students from disadvantaged communities across the globe. The students are supported throughout their A Level studies, and then during university. Armed with the expertise and knowledge this experience bestows on them, they often return home to initiate life-changing projects for their communities.
Last year (2018/2019) our then chairman Graham Card chose Pestalozzi as Wealden Business Group’s charity, and WBG are delighted to have been able to support Pestalozzi in its challenging mission to provide an opening for these talented individuals. In November 2018, the Big Give doubled our initial contribution of £750 to £1500. Yesterday, we presented Pestalozzi with a second instalment of £750, making a total of £2,250.
