The group was joined this week by Tenterden Town Council’s Business and Tourism officer, Ginny Hodge, who gave an overview of her role. She is responsible for liaising with local businesses to provide information and advice, and to promote the town as a tourist destination. Part of the role involves coordination with the borough council in Ashford.
Ginny carried on to describe the tourism opportunities for Tenterden that she will look to explore over the coming weeks and months, including a Visit Tenterden hub for all relevant activities and businesses (such as bike hire, walking routes, destinations, etc).
