Part of WBG’s offering to members is the annual programme of visits to places of interest.
The latest – and particularly relevant with increasing concern being expressed about the UK’s security of power supply – was to Dungeness Power Station.
Members learned of the importance of Dungeness as a key component in the nation’s network of power stations, before enjoying lunch at a nearby pub, where they collected a small donation for the Group’s charity kitty.
