The Wealden Business Group, the Tenterden-based business networking organisation, is holding its fifth annual charity dinner at the London Beach Hotel, Tenterden, on Saturday, 6 February, and is inviting local people to “join us for a great night out”.
The black tie dinner is in aid of the Ashford branch of Parkinson’s UK, and the group are on target to raise a record amount for their nominated annual charity. In the past four years, they have raised more than £20,000 for local good causes.
The event includes a superb dinner; entertainment from young magician Lewis Fuller, who has featured on BBC TV’s ‘The One Show’; disco by Boy George impressionist Bye George, who has appeared on ITV’s ‘The Alan Titchmarsh Show’; and an auction and tombola.
Tickets are available at £40 each from Sue Kimber, tel: 01233 758787, email suekimber61@hotmail.com
The charity dinner is part of Wealden Business Group’s annual programme, which includes Wednesday breakfast meetings, networking opportunities, support and advice, and social activities including visits and a curry club.
